Homeowners never pay us. Here is every way this site earns revenue:

Quote-line calls

Calls to the "get quotes" numbers are answered by independent contractor-matching partners, not by the contractors listed on the page. We may receive compensation for calls and referrals. Calls may be recorded by the partner for quality.

Featured Partner placements

Contractors can purchase a labeled Featured Partner placement in their territory for a flat fee. Placements never change directory order, never remove competitors, and are always labeled. We do not sell leads on a per-lead basis and make no promises to partners about lead volume.

Display advertising

Informational pages (cost guides, advice) may carry standard display ads. Directory listing pages don't.

What we don't do: pay-to-rank, per-lead referral fees (in Florida, per-referral compensation arrangements on insurance-funded roofing work are prohibited by law — our flat-fee model exists partly for that reason), or endorsements of any kind.
